Routine six-month dental visits are the best way to prevent and identify cavities and other dental health issues in patients of all ages.
To begin your appointment, one of our dental hygienists will thoroughly clean your teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and other debris. Then, we’ll take x-rays of your mouth to look for hidden oral health issues, past dental work, and to learn more about your overall oral health.
After your cleaning, your dentist will enter the room and perform an oral exam to look for cavities, gum disease, and other common issues. They will also review your x-rays to make sure you’ve got a clean bill of oral health!
Once your oral exam is over, your Miami dentist will discuss their findings with you. If everything looks good, you’ll just schedule another six-month checkup! But if our team notices any potential oral health issues, we’ll discuss your treatment options with you, and get you scheduled for the expert care you need in Miami.
